THINK SPRING…..
Only three weeks to go…….not that I’m counting but Spring is literally around the corner but in the shops it’s here NOW……hooray. Gone are those darker shades of winter and its place we can see a wonderful range of beautiful colours .
Popped into my local M&S and I was literally shocked and delighted by the abundance of brights – almost needed my shades (sunglasses that is!) You will be spoilt for choice and here are just a few tasters:- Blue, Pink, Orange, Violet, Lime green, Azure, Jade, Mint, Red, Yellow, Blackcurrant and so much more. There are also some softer nude shades in the shops (loved the shades of Lopaz and Aniston’s dresses at the Oscars) with hints of soft rose and grey. What is definately making a splash in all the shops this season is ‘Blue’ and many shades to suit everyone. With denim also being a big wardrobe essential this season, complementing nicely with the 70’s revival – It’s a real retro feel. Do you have the flare? Yes, they are back with fringe benefits! What is also ubiquitous this Spring are stripes, florals and paisley, so be ready to shake off those winter layers and welcome in the new season.
